Is Hillary a functioning alchoholic ?

I would be willing to suppose that Hillary has a drinking problem. Perhaps she is a functioning alcoholic – then again – maybe not. Many people think of alcoholics as disheveled, homeless winos who have lost everything, but there are people who meet the criteria for a medical diagnosis for alcohol dependence who are highly functional in society and still have their jobs, homes and families. This type of drinker is known as a functioning alcoholic .
They rarely miss work and other obligations because of their drinking, although it does happen occasionally, and they usually excel at their jobs and careers. Typically, they are clever and witty individuals who are successful in many areas of their lives. To all but those who are closest to them, they give the outward appearance of being perfectly normal.
I fully agree with Conservative Columnist Niles Gardiner who stated ” People working for the Government are servants of the American People and they should conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and, of course, recognizing the fact that they are representing the American People on the world stage. All pictures circulating around the Internet of Hillary Clinton are downright embarrassing.”

The latest foray – Instead of Benghazi Hearings, Hillary headed out for a Wine Tasting in Australia. I suppose getting loaded precludes testifying about the Benghazi cover-up. How convenient she found herself on the other side of the planet slurping down some drinks while Congress attempts to get some answers on Benghazi.
Not only that – She took along a 150-strong entourage that booked more than 100 rooms over several floors at the Intercontinental Hotel .
That the Citizens put up with this nonsense is beyond my level of comprehension.

I have to agree with Gerilynn that it’s a stretch to go from some pictures on the internet to suppose that Secretary Clinton is an alcoholic. I suspect one could find equally “embarrassing” photos of just about any politician of either party. I do recall a very problematic video of President Bush circulating the web from when (I believe) he was governor of Texas, in which he was holding what appeared to be a cocktail making some untoward remarks at a wedding (and this was after the point he said he had given up drinking). In any event, I think the larger question is whether or not she’s done the job. Regardless of one’s political stripe, I don’t think there is a question but that she’s been one of our hardest working and most effective Secretaries of State in recent memory.
One is free to drawn their own conclushions ….
How many hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars does that lush spend on booze each year? That figure alone provides a mechanism for determining whether or not she is a walking distillery.
I would prefer to think she is a tired- but well performing patriot.
I also believe- if you don’t have anything but opinion on the subject lacking any proof just some pictures of someone who has worked tirelessly for years in public service, enjoying an evening out? not quite the same as the actual alcoholic drug abuser GW Bush who at the time of his presidency was drunk on may occasions while representing the US.

Whenever anyone brings up Bush as equivocation on any topic, I know I am right. Bush never drank in Office and if he did, he never slobbered in Public looking like a drunken sailor.
And with all due respect – What does George Bush have to do with Hillary’s drinking ?
Bush hasn’t been president in years… but we do have a pothead president and a bunch of tax-cheat cabinet members who are willing to raise taxes on regular folk to support a nation of parasites because regular folk have to pay their taxes… unlike the pothead president’s cabinet members.
